Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 2026

Analiz is cookie-free by design. Our analytics tracking snippet does not set any cookies on your visitors’ browsers, does not use localStorage for tracking, and does not create persistent cross-site identifiers. This is a core feature — not an afterthought.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are commonly used to remember preferences, maintain login sessions, and track user behavior across the web.

This policy explains what cookies are used by the Analiz dashboard application (analiz.dev) itself — not by our tracking snippet on your website.

2. Essential Cookies — Authentication

The Analiz dashboard uses a session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is strictly necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled.

NameProviderPurposeTypeDuration
next-auth.session-tokenAnaliz (analiz.dev)Maintains your authenticated session in the dashboard. Required to use the application.Essential30 days
next-auth.csrf-tokenAnaliz (analiz.dev)Cross-site request forgery protection for authentication actions.EssentialSession
next-auth.callback-urlAnaliz (analiz.dev)Remembers the page to redirect to after login.EssentialSession

These cookies are set only when you visit the dashboard at analiz.dev and are not present on websites that use our tracking snippet.

3. Essential Cookies — Stripe Payment Processing

When you access the billing section or complete a payment, Stripe may set cookies for fraud detection and security. These are essential for payment processing and cannot be disabled without preventing purchases.

NameProviderPurposeTypeDuration
__stripe_midStripe, Inc.Fraud prevention and security during payment checkout. Identifies your browser to detect unusual activity.Essential1 year
__stripe_sidStripe, Inc.Fraud prevention during the active checkout session.Essential30 minutes

Stripe’s use of cookies is governed by Stripe’s Privacy Policy. Stripe is a certified PCI DSS Level 1 service provider.

4. Analytics Cookies

We use our own cookie-free analytics (Analiz) to understand how people use the Analiz dashboard. This tracking collects only anonymized, aggregate data and sets no cookies.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party behavioral tracking cookies.

5. No Consent Banner — Why?

Under GDPR, you are only required to obtain consent for non-essential cookies (e.g., analytics, advertising). Since Analiz only uses:

  • Essential session cookies (exempt from consent under ePrivacy Directive Art. 5(3))
  • Stripe fraud-prevention cookies (necessary for a transaction you initiate)

We do not display a cookie consent banner on our own site. However, because our tracking snippet is cookie-free, your website also does not need a cookie consent banner for analytics when using Analiz.

6. How to Manage Cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Here are links to instructions for common browsers:

Note: disabling essential session cookies will prevent you from logging into the Analiz dashboard.
